Tybalt's on our Turf

The Capulets just came by, they were looking for Romeo. I told them I had no idea where he was, he always vanishes at unexpected times. He's probably off being depressed or falling in love with some other girl. Tybalt then butted in while I was talking to my self and said "yeah my cousin" . You guys should have seen my face. I'm no Montague or Capulet, but Romeo just made a big mistake. Oh , when I see Romeo I am going to knock some sense into him. What was he thinking, trying to get with the Capulets Daughter, is he out of his mind. Ten minutes later, there's Romeo strolling In like he did nothing wrong. "Romeo, Get over here and don't say a word" I said with steam coming out of my ears. He screamed back "What the heck are the Capulet bro's doing here", I laughed and smiled and said " Only you would no" .  Romeo need's to understand that Tybalt is not someone you should mess with. He never listens to anything his cousin's or I have to say.
 

Somwhere We Shouldn't Be

Tonight is the Capulets Party. Technically, Romeo and the others are not supposed to be going, but I thought this party would get Romeo out of his depressed and lovey dovey stage. We all needed a night off. I do understand that we should not be attending because of obvious reasons, but Romeo and the boys really need to get over all of this rivalry stuff. I'm not part of the Capulet or Montague family, so I can't say I know how hard it is to avoid each other but I do know that eventually they need to get over all of this stupid nonsense and find peace.

Dreams

 

All dreams are lies. It's just your brain fantasizing what could happen. They make you believe in things that could have been but never was. Romeo has these dreams where he marries Rosaline, but we all know he will never be truly in love with her. Everyone he ever gets close to gets hurt or dies. Romeo always says "I dreamt a dream to-night" and I always tell him "dreams often lie" (I.IV.52-56). I'm Mercutio, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to love at first sight and dreams. There Is a very big difference between bad dreams and good dreams. Good is fantasizing happily ever after with someone you've known for a lifetime. Bad is fantasizing doom and destruction from the one person you never dare to stay in a room with.
















Love and Romeo

I can not stand how Romeo gets all caught up in this stupid thing called love. He practically tortures him self with it. All this big talk about Rosaline, it gets really annoying. I know I'm supposed to be his best friend and everything but come on man, love and him do not mix. I tell him, "if love be rough with you, be rough with love" (I.IV.28), but he would never do such a thing to someone he "truly" loves. I don't understand why he's so curious about love. Love is sickening, it ruins friendships, families, me, everything. It will not bring peace to either families. I've never been in love, and I don't ever want to be. Love is a joke and Romeo does not understand that. It will make you go crazy and it will turn you into a person you never thought you would be.
